राधा तू बड़भागिनी, कौन तपस्या कीन, तीन लोक तारन-तरन जो तेरे आधीन

Town Rawal, 8 kilometers from Mathura, is popular as the origin of Shri Krishna’s cherished Radha. As indicated by fanciful convictions, Radha’s dad’s name was Vrishabhanu and mother’s name was Kirti. The ‘Radharani Ka Sanctuary’ arranged in this town is portraying the narrative of the association of Radha and Krishna.

An extremely old symbol of Radha-Krishna, notable by the name of ‘Shri Ladli Lal’, is available in the sanctuary. Here it is a prevalent view that from the spot where the sanctum sanctorum of the sanctuary is, the icon of Shri Radha itself showed up and the symbol of Shri Krishna was brought here from Gokulnath ji’s Pushtimargiya manor and introduced here.

The picture of the couple in the sanctuary is exceptionally beguiling. As per society convictions, Radha was brought into the world in Rawal, eleven and a half months before Ruler Krishna. The birth celebration of Shri Krishna ‘Nandotsav’ was praised at Gokul close to Raval. Vrishbhanu and Kirti alongside their little girl Radha went to Gokul in ‘Nandotsav’ to praise the introduction of their child. Krishna’s support was swinging in Gokul’s ‘Krishna Bhavan’ and Radha was in the lap of her mom Kirti.

Radharani opened her eyes interestingly and saw Shri Krishna. Before this Radha had not woken up. Individuals of Braj call this magnificent episode as the principal event of the gathering of darling and adored. There is a copper plate in the Rawal sanctuary, which traces all the way back to the hour of Mughal ruler Mohammad Shah Rangeela (1719-1748). In this copper plate, there is a request to give one rupee each day from the depository of Mahavan for the upkeep of this sanctuary.

This copper plate is evidence that the Mughal sovereign additionally regarded the opinions of individuals who had confidence in this sanctuary.
